My First Day at a New School
Today was my first day at a new school. I felt nervous and excited at the same time. As soon as I entered the school gate, I was greeted by friendly faces of my classmates. They introduced themselves and made me feel welcome.
In the morning, we had an assembly where the principal gave a speech to welcome all the new students. She spoke about the school rules and the importance of hard work and discipline. After that, we were divided into different classes and I was assigned to Class 7A.
My homeroom teacher, Miss Smith, introduced herself and then asked each of us to introduce ourselves to the class. I stood up and nervously introduced myself. Everyone was kind and supportive, which made me feel more at ease.
In my first class, we had English. The teacher, Mr. Johnson, asked us to introduce ourselves using English. I was a bit nervous, but I managed to introduce myself and talk a little bit about my hobbies and interests. The class went smoothly and I was relieved.
During lunchtime, I sat with a group of friendly classmates. They asked me about my old school, my hobbies, and what I liked about the new school. I felt grateful to have made new friends so quickly.
In the afternoon, we had math class. The teacher, Mrs. Brown, explained the topic clearly and gave us some exercises to practice. I found the class challenging but interesting.
At the end of the day, I was tired but happy. I had a great first day at my new school. I made new friends, met friendly teachers, and enjoyed my classes. I am looking forward to the rest of the school year and all the new experiences it will bring.
