My Daily Routine
Hi, my name is Lisa. I am a 13-year-old girl. Today, I would like to share with you my daily routine.
I usually wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I have breakfast with my family. My mom usually prepares toast, cereal, and a glass of milk for me. Then, I quickly get dressed and pack my school bag.
At 8 o'clock, I leave for school. It takes me about 20 minutes to walk to school. I enjoy walking because I can see the beautiful flowers and trees along the way. When I arrive at school, I meet my friends at the school gate and we walk to our classrooms together.
Our first class starts at 8:30. We have different subjects every day, such as math, English, science, and history. I like English the most because I find it interesting to learn new words and practice speaking. During the break, I usually play with my friends in the playground or eat snacks in the cafeteria.
After school, I have lunch at home. My mom prepares a delicious meal for me. After eating, I have some free time to relax. Sometimes, I watch TV or play video games. But most of the time, I prefer reading books or practicing the piano. I have piano lessons twice a week, and I enjoy playing classical music.
In the evening, I usually have dinner with my family. We talk about our day and share funny stories. After dinner, I do my homework. Sometimes, I need help from my parents, especially in math. Once I finish my homework, I have some free time to watch TV or chat with my friends online.
At around 9 o'clock, I start getting ready for bed. I brush my teeth, wash my face, and put on my pajamas. My mom usually reads me a bedtime story before I go to sleep. I love listening to her soothing voice, and it helps me relax and fall asleep.
That's a typical day for me. I enjoy my daily routine because it keeps me organized and helps me manage my time well. I believe that having a routine is important for a successful and balanced life.

My Favorite Hobby
Hello, my name is Jack. Today, I would like to talk about my favorite hobby.
My favorite hobby is playing soccer. I started playing soccer when I was 7 years old, and I instantly fell in love with the sport. I love the excitement of running on the field and the thrill of scoring a goal.
I usually play soccer with my friends after school. We meet at the park near our houses and play for a couple of hours. We divide ourselves into two teams and have friendly matches. It's a great way to exercise and have fun at the same time.
I enjoy the teamwork involved in soccer. It's important to communicate and cooperate with your teammates in order to win the game. We pass the ball to each other, strategize, and help each other defend the goal. It's a great feeling when we work together and score against the opposing team.
Playing soccer also helps me improve my physical fitness. It requires a lot of running, jumping, and kicking. It keeps me active and helps me stay healthy. I also learn the importance of discipline and perseverance. Sometimes, we lose a game, but it motivates me to work harder and improve my skills.
I also watch soccer matches on TV and cheer for my favorite teams. I love watching professional players perform amazing tricks and score incredible goals. It inspires me to practice more and become a better player myself.
In addition to playing soccer, I also collect soccer cards. I have a collection of cards featuring famous soccer players from around the world. I enjoy trading cards with my friends and learning more about different players and their achievements.
Soccer is not just a hobby for me; it's a passion. It brings me joy, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment. I hope to continue playing soccer and maybe even join a soccer team in the future.
So that's why playing soccer is my favorite hobby. It's a sport that brings people together, keeps me active, and allows me to pursue my passion.
There are a great many people who have all the material conditions of happiness, i.e. health and a sufficient income, and who, nevertheless, are profoundly unhappy. In one sense, we may say that any theory as to how to live is wrong. We imagine ourselves more different from the animals than we are. Animals live on impulse, and are happy as long as external conditions are favorable. If you have a cat it will enjoy life if it has food and warmth and opportunities for an occasional night on the tiles. Your needs are more complex than those of your cat, but they still have their basis in instinct. In civilized societies, especially in English-speaking societies, this is too apt to be forgotten. People propose to themselves some one paramount objective, and restrain all impulses that do not minister to it. A businessman may be so anxious to grow rich that to this end he sacrifices health and private affections. When at last he has become rich, no pleasure remains to him except harrying other people by exhortations to imitate his noble example. Many rich ladies, although nature has not endowed them with any spontaneous pleasure in literature or art, decide to be thought cultured, and spend boring hours learning the right thing to say about fashionable new books that are written to give delight, not to afford opportunities for dusty snobbism
初一英语听力资料:俄罗斯政治

How the Kremlin is using the law for political ends
克里姆林宫如何操纵法律以达政治目的
For generations of Russian leaders, the law has been a tool of state power, not a limit on its abuse. In recent months, as Vladimir Putin, Russia’s president, and his advisers have navigated an unfamiliar political env
ironment, they too have fallen back on a kind of nominal legalism, in which the law is less for protecting the citizenry than an instrument of power.
