七年级英语周记 篇一

My First English Class

This week, I had my first English class as a seventh grader. I was filled with excitement and a little bit of nervousness. I had heard from my older friends that English class in junior high would be more challenging than in elementary school, but I was ready for the challenge.

As soon as I entered the classroom, I noticed the colorful posters on the walls and the big whiteboard at the front. Our English teacher, Mrs. Johnson, greeted us with a warm smile and introduced herself. She seemed friendly and approachable, which made me feel more at ease.

To start the class, Mrs. Johnson asked us to introduce ourselves and share something interesting about us. This was a great icebreaker activity to get to know my classmates. I learned that some of them liked playing basketball, others enjoyed painting, and a few even had pets.

Next, Mrs. Johnson gave us an overview of what we would be learning in English this year. She explained that we would be focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills. This sounded like a lot, but I was determined to do my best.

One activity that stood out to me was when we played a game called "Word Chain." Mrs. Johnson wrote a word on the board, and we had to come up with another word that started with the last letter of the previous word. It was challenging, but also a lot of fun. This game helped us improve our vocabulary and thinking skills.

At the end of the class, Mrs. Johnson assigned us some homework. We had to write a short paragraph about our favorite hobby. I chose to write about playing the guitar, as it is something I am passionate about. I was excited to share my hobby with my classmates and learn about their interests as well.

Overall, my first English class was a success. I felt motivated and eager to learn more. Mrs. Johnson's teaching style and the interactive activities made the class enjoyable. I can't wait to see what else I will learn in English this year!

My English Learning Goals

In my English class this week, we talked about setting goals for our language learning journey. It made me realize the importance of having clear objectives to guide my progress. So, I decided to set some English learning goals for myself.

The first goal I set for myself is to improve my vocabulary. I want to expand my word bank and be able to use a wide range of words in my speaking and writing. To achieve this, I plan to read more English books and articles, and keep a vocabulary notebook to record new words and their meanings.

My second goal is to improve my pronunciation and speaking skills. I want to be able to speak English fluently and confidently. To work towards this goal, I will practice speaking with my classmates and participate in class discussions. I will also try to watch English movies and listen to English songs to improve my listening skills.

Another goal I have is to improve my writing skills. I want to be able to write clear and coherent paragraphs and essays. To achieve this, I will practice writing regularly, whether it's journal entries, essays, or creative writing pieces. I will also seek feedback from my teacher and classmates to help me identify areas for improvement.

Lastly, I want to improve my grammar. I know that having a good grasp of grammar is essential in communicating effectively. To enhance my grammar skills, I will review grammar rules and practice using them in my writing and speaking. I will also use online resources and grammar exercises to reinforce my learning.

Setting these goals gives me a sense of direction and purpose in my English learning. I know that it won't be easy, but I am determined to work hard and make progress. I believe that with time and effort, I will be able to achieve these goals and become a more confident English speaker and writer.

In conclusion, setting goals is an important aspect of language learning. It helps us stay focused and motivated. I am excited to work towards my English learning goals and see how much I can improve throughout the year.

七年级英语周记 篇三

I have no dream because I dreamed last night.

Everybody has a dream. They hope that enemy become friends. So we hope the Japanese become our friends after the end of World War II, but now the enemy get back.

An island with no person living on named Fishing Island in East Sea of China, which is part of our holy homeland, now is in the control of the Japanese navy. Some people who love our motherland sailed to the island but were struck by the Japanese navy. Some of them got caught, and the Japanese navy refused to send them back to China at once! It seemed that the people who sailed to Fishing Island were against the Japanese navy and got into the Japanese territorial sea.

This hurt everybody in China. They talked on net, and said that the enemy had got back. Nearly everyone claimed that why not do something for our island and our country-mates?

Now a Japanese law says that Japan should exploit petrol in South Sea of Japan. Certainly it is none of our business, but look out, the South Sea of Japan is the East Sea of China, and the petrol is all around the Fishing Island. It means that a foreign country wanted to exploit petrol in our territorial sea, but our government did nothing about it except for some announcements.

So, rise up, our country-mates, our dream was up last night; we must be strong and powerful, or, the enemy will be really back!
