When I entered the classroom, I was greeted by my homeroom teacher, Mr. Johnson. He seemed nice and friendly. He introduced me to my classmates and helped me settle into my seat. The classroom was much bigger and more organized than what I was used to. I was excited to see what the year had in store for me.
Throughout the day, we had different subjects like Math, English, Science, and History. The teachers were all very passionate and knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed the English class where we had to introduce ourselves to the class. It was a great way to get to know my classmates better.
During lunchtime, I sat with a group of girls who seemed nice. We chatted and laughed together, which made me feel more at ease. They even invited me to join their study group after school. I was grateful for their kindness and felt like I was slowly fitting in.
In the afternoon, we had Physical Education class. We played basketball and I was surprised to find that I was actually pretty good at it. It was a great way to bond with my classmates and have some fun.
As the day came to an end, I felt a sense of accomplishment. I survived my first day of junior high school! It was a day filled with new experiences and challenges, but I couldn't wait to see what the rest of the year had in store for me.
