English Speech Draft Two
Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, I would like to talk about the importance of cultural exchange through learning English. Language is not just a means of communication; it is a gateway to understanding different cultures and fostering global harmony.
Firstly, learning English allows us to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Through language, we can bridge the gap between cultures and develop meaningful relationships. By understanding different perspectives and ways of life, we can break down stereotypes and promote tolerance and acceptance.
Secondly, learning English enables us to appreciate literature, music, and films from English-speaking countries. Many of the world's most influential literary works, such as the works of Shakespeare and Dickens, are written in English. By studying these works in their original language, we can fully grasp the nuances and beauty of the English language, as well as gain insights into the history and culture of English-speaking countries.
Furthermore, learning English opens up opportunities for studying abroad. Many prestigious universities and educational institutions offer programs taught in English. By studying in a foreign country, we can immerse ourselves in a different culture and gain a global perspective. This experience not only broadens our knowledge but also helps us develop important life skills, such as independence, adaptability, and resilience.
Moreover, learning English can contribute to the preservation of indigenous languages. In many parts of the world, indigenous languages are at risk of extinction due to the dominance of English and other global languages. However, by learning English, we can become advocates for linguistic diversity, promoting the preservation and revitalization of endangered languages.
In conclusion, learning English goes beyond communication; it is a pathway to cultural exchange and understanding. By embracing the English language, we can connect with people from different cultures, appreciate diverse forms of art, and contribute to the preservation of indigenous languages. So let us embark on this journey of cultural exchange through learning English and create a more harmonious and inclusive world.
Thank you for your attention.

Good morning/afternoon! First thing first, I gotta say, wow, its funny thing to be given a chance like that.Trurh be told,I really got a little bit nervous before I stand right here ,so called stage fright. If you look specifically on me .You may find my hands shaking, pretty assembles the guy who suffered from Pakinsons disease, and legs wobbling ,like I caught so-called ball leg.
Okay, lets stop going around the bush and get back to my topic today.I really like to talk a funny story I have just heard.A lady called Lucy emigrated to United States several years ago.Her spoken English is not that fluent .And one day,she is just sitting on the couch with his U.S friends Mandy watching Sit-Com.A noise of bump had the attention of Mandy, which led her to go out of the house trying to figure out what had happened.
Can you imagine that Mandy go straight out with merely a sweater. So Lucy shouted at her,"Lucy ,turn your clothes on." What suprised her most, beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of the window.Admittedly,Lucy made a mistake here .The word spitted means Mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window.
The right sentence shall be,"put your clothing on."The story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture. Thats full of it,thank you for your time!

A Young Idler,An Old Beggar
Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.
It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one‘s mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.
Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don‘t make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.
