Title: The Urgency of Environmental Conservation
Ladies and gentlemen,
Good afternoon! Today, I stand here to address the urgency of environmental conservation. In recent years, the world has witnessed the devastating effects of climate change, deforestation, pollution, and other environmental issues. It is high time for us to take immediate action to protect our planet.
Firstly, let's talk about climate change. The Earth's climate has been rapidly changing due to human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. The rise in global temperatures has led to more frequent and intense natural disasters like hurricanes, droughts, and floods. These disasters not only cause loss of lives and property, but also have long-term negative impacts on the environment, economy, and society as a whole.
Secondly, deforestation is a major concern. Forests play a vital role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems. They act as carbon sinks, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. However, large-scale deforestation for agriculture, logging, and urbanization has resulted in the loss of biodiversity and disrupted the natural habitat of countless species. It is crucial that we protect and restore our forests to ensure a sustainable future.
Furthermore, pollution has become a pressing issue in many parts of the world. Air pollution from industrial emissions and vehicle exhausts not only affects our health but also contributes to climate change. Water pollution caused by improper waste disposal and industrial activities contaminates our rivers, lakes, and oceans, threatening marine life and human well-being. We must adopt cleaner technologies, reduce waste, and promote recycling to combat pollution.
What can we do to address these environmental challenges? Firstly, we need to raise awareness and educate the public about the importance of environmental conservation. We can organize campaigns, workshops, and educational programs to inform people about the consequences of their actions and encourage sustainable practices.
Secondly, individuals and communities must take responsibility for their actions. We should reduce our carbon footprint by using energy-efficient appliances, choosing public transportation, and practicing sustainable consumption. Planting trees, supporting local organic farming, and participating in clean-up activities can also make a significant difference.
Lastly, governments and corporations have a crucial role to play. They should implement and enforce stricter environmental regulations, invest in renewable energy sources, and support sustainable development initiatives. Collaboration between different sectors is essential to achieve meaningful progress.
In conclusion, environmental conservation is an urgent global issue that requires immediate action. Climate change, deforestation, and pollution are threatening the well-being of our planet and future generations. It is our responsibility to raise awareness, change our behaviors, and demand action from governments and corporations. Let us work together to create a sustainable and greener future for all.
Thank you for your attention.

Title: Sustainable Practices for a Greener Future
Ladies and gentlemen,
Good afternoon! Today, I would like to discuss the importance of sustainable practices for a greener future. As the world faces increasing environmental challenges, it is crucial that we adopt sustainable solutions to protect our planet and ensure the well-being of future generations.
Firstly, let's talk about sustainable energy. Our reliance on fossil fuels is depleting natural resources and contributing to climate change. We need to transition to renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower. Investing in renewable energy not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also creates job opportunities and stimulates economic growth. Individuals can contribute by using energy-efficient appliances, supporting renewable energy initiatives, and advocating for clean energy policies.
Secondly, sustainable agriculture is essential for a greener future. Industrial agriculture practices, such as excessive use of pesticides and fertilizers, monocropping, and deforestation for large-scale farming, have negative impacts on the environment and human health. We should promote organic farming, agroforestry, and sustainable land management techniques. By using natural fertilizers, conserving water, and preserving biodiversity, we can protect ecosystems, improve soil health, and produce healthier food for everyone.
Furthermore, waste management is a critical aspect of sustainability. We must reduce, reuse, and recycle to minimize the amount of waste sent to landfills or incinerated. Governments should implement effective waste management policies, while individuals can practice responsible consumption, support recycling initiatives, and prioritize products with minimal packaging. Composting organic waste and promoting circular economy principles can also help reduce waste and conserve resources.
In addition, sustainable transportation is essential for a greener future. The rise in vehicle emissions contributes to air pollution and climate change. We should prioritize public transportation, carpooling, cycling, and walking instead of relying on private cars. Governments can invest in public transportation infrastructure, promote electric and hybrid vehicles, and create incentives for sustainable commuting. By reducing our carbon footprint in transportation, we can improve air quality, reduce congestion, and enhance overall quality of life.
Lastly, education and awareness play a significant role in promoting sustainable practices. We need to educate individuals, especially the younger generation, about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living. Schools, universities, and community organizations should integrate environmental education into their curricula and activities. By empowering individuals with knowledge and skills, we can create a society that values and actively participates in sustainable practices.
In conclusion, sustainable practices are crucial for a greener future. By transitioning to renewable energy, adopting sustainable agriculture, managing waste effectively, promoting sustainable transportation, and raising awareness, we can mitigate the negative impacts of human activities on the environment. Let's embrace sustainability as a way of life and work together to create a greener and more sustainable future for all.
Thank you for your attention.

Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on。 Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our environment。 Though the environment doesn’t have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action。 In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods。
As a result, the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants。 Another example was in several developed countries。 Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in。 What horrible scene! What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered。 If we don’t take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation。 Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying。
First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well。 Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment。 Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems。 Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it。 Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves。

We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we are going to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, they become waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. This is really a big problem.

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence. The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

Chinahas a very long and brilliant history whose people are so friendly and hospitable. But I am wondering why some people pay such little attention to the environment and nature. In many places of the countryside rivers have become stinking sewers and brooks have disappeared. Heaps of garbage obstructs the scarce flow of dirty water. The grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. People are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. In some towns rubbish is hidden behind walls. Garbage cans are often of little use making cleaners must rush all day long and also by night to clean the rubbish.
This lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to children’s education toChina’s image to public health to tourism and to the future.Chinais the common treasure of all Chinese and we should live up to be a member of this big family a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country. I think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. This protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation.
n this respectGermanyis a rare model and leaves me a very deep impression. After you have an exciting tour around in this country for a week or so it is unnecessary for you to polish your leather shoes. Personally first of all the strong awareness of people’s environmental protection; then the advanced technology applied in the field of preserving the nature; We can learn form others in building China into one of the most environmentally friendly places in the world.
