英语小故事演讲稿范文 篇一
Good morning everyone!
Today, I would like to share a short story with all of you. The story is called "The Ant and the Grasshopper."
Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. The ant was hardworking and spent all day gathering food and preparing for the winter. Meanwhile, the grasshopper was carefree and spent his time singing and dancing.
As winter approached, the ant had a stockpile of food while the grasshopper had nothing. The grasshopper, realizing his mistake, went to the ant and asked for food. The ant, who was wise and understanding, kindly shared some of his food with the grasshopper.
This story teaches us the importance of hard work and preparation. The ant's diligence allowed him to survive the harsh winter, while the grasshopper's laziness left him hungry and desperate. It reminds us that we must work hard and plan ahead to achieve success in life.
In our own lives, we often face challenges and obstacles. It is easy to be like the grasshopper and live in the present without considering the future. However, if we want to achieve our goals and dreams, we must be like the ant and work hard towards them.
Just like the ant, we should set goals and make a plan to achieve them. We should take small steps every day to move closer to our objectives. By doing so, we can overcome any difficulties that come our way and ensure a brighter future.
In conclusion, the story of "The Ant and the Grasshopper" reminds us of the importance of hard work, preparation, and planning. It teaches us that success comes to those who are diligent and focused on their goals. So let us all be like the ant and strive for success in everything we do.
Thank you for listening.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, I would like to share with you a heartwarming story called "The Lion and the Mouse."
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a mighty lion was sleeping under a tree. While he was sleeping, a little mouse accidentally woke him up. The lion, furious at being disturbed, caught the mouse with his paw and was about to eat him.
The mouse, trembling with fear, begged the lion for mercy. He promised that if the lion spared his life, he would someday repay the kindness. The lion, amused by the tiny creature's plea, decided to let him go.
Several days later, the lion found himself trapped in a hunter's net. He roared and struggled, but couldn't free himself. Hearing the lion's distress, the little mouse came to his rescue. With his sharp teeth, the mouse gnawed through the ropes, setting the lion free.
The lion was grateful and thanked the mouse for saving his life. The mouse replied, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
This story teaches us the value of compassion and the power of kindness. It shows that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact on others. It reminds us that we should never underestimate the importance of helping those in need, regardless of their size or status.
In our own lives, we often have the opportunity to lend a helping hand to others. It may be as simple as offering a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand. These small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone's life and bring joy to both the giver and the receiver.
In conclusion, the story of "The Lion and the Mouse" reminds us of the importance of compassion, kindness, and the impact of our actions. It teaches us that no act of kindness is ever wasted and that we should always be willing to help others, regardless of their size or status.
Thank you for listening.

A Woman Who Fell
It was rush hour and I was dashing to a train in New York City's Grand Central Terminal - As I neared the gate, a plump, middle-aged woman sprinted up from behind, lost her footing on the smooth marble floor and slid onto her back。 Her momentum carried her close to my shoes。 Before I could help her, however, she had scrambled up。 Gaining her posure, she winked at me and said, "Do you always have beautiful women failing at your feet?"
